Do I Have Insomnia?
In spite of all the over-dramatization cinema and literature have given to the idea of insomnia, many people simply want to know, "Do I have insomnia myself?" Because of the heavy-handed influence of art on people's perceptions, many believe that insomnia is some sort of terrible sickness or disease. Insomnia, however, is actually not a sickness or disease at all - it is simply a symptom or sign of other diseases. Insomnia, put as plainly as possible, is when someone has difficulty falling asleep or remaining asleep. The severity of insomnia can vary from case to case; for some, it might simply make sleep more difficult, while for others it may prevent sleep altogether; this should be considered when deciding whether to seek medical attention. For instance, if it generally takes you an hour of lying in bed each night before you can fall asleep, but if you thereafter find yourself sleeping through the night, it might not be worth seeking medical treatment. This delay of sleep - or "light insomnia" - might be brought on by something as simple as stress or uptightness. The insomnia will go away once you solve the stress itself. On the other hand, if you are dealing with a situation where you are extremely tired and sleep-deprived and are still unable to fall asleep or sleep through the night, you might be dealing with a more severe case of insomnia. Consider seeking medical assistance if you are experiencing such a situation, where you are unable to sleep through the night or to fall asleep at all, even when your body is immensely tired. The body's mind and muscles are the areas most likely to be in disarray when insomnia is a present symptom. Medication is another common cause of insomnia. You can keep insomnia at bay with any number of prescribed drugs, but you can also remove insomnia entirely by curing the root of the problem - the disorder that is causing your insomnia. By seeking medical assistance when you have a severe case of insomnia, you can find out what is causing the insomnia, and you can take measures to solve this problem.
Cooking Fish
Cooking fish can be intimidating for the first time, especially if you are unsure on types of fish to even get. Cooking fish is actually really easy to do and can be delicious from home. You can easily cook fish with minimal cooking tools and ingredients. For a beginner a tilapia makes a great fish to start with. You can simply pick up flash frozen tilapia at most stores. One of the easiest ways to cook fish is to pan fry them. You will want a good quality stainless steel pan. Start by thawing the fish filet in the refigerator over night. Once you are ready to cook, rince the filet off and pat dry. Add a 1/4 cup flour in a shallow bowl with 1 tsp of pepper and 2 tsp of salt. Stir the flour mixture. Place the fish into the mixture and gently coat both sides. Shake excess flower off of the fish filet. Heat pan and about a quarter cup of coconut oil until hot. After oil is hot add your fish filet. Cook on each side for two and a half minutes. You will know the fish is done when the flour coating is crispy and the fish flakes easily with a fork. Baking is another great way to prepare fish. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Put your thawed tilapia filet into an oven safe container along with a tablespoon of butter. Sprinkle fish with salt, pepper, and dill weed. You can even cut a lemon into rounds and place it on top of the fish. Then cook in the over for 20 minutes. You know it is done cooking when it easily flakes apart with a fork. If the fish is not done put back into oven for another five minutes and check again. These are two easily ways to cook fish, but there plenty of other options available. There are a ton of great resources on how to cook fish, books like Fish: The Complete Guide to Buying and Cooking, make a great place to start looking. Don't feel intimidated when cooking fish, it can be done quite easily.

How To Sleep In Cycles To Feel More Awake
There are a lot of people who usually feel tired no matter what time of morning they wake up or how much sleep they get; people who encounter this often assume that the key is for them to get more sleep, but actually, it is much better to understand how sleep works than to simply get more sleep, as understanding how sleep works will enable you to sleep "correctly," and this will give you much more energy than you would get from any other method - even from adding extra sleep. Your body and mind work in a 90-minute cycle when you sleep; you have probably heard the term "REM sleep" - and maybe you even know that this means "rapid eye movement" - but this does not necessarily mean you know how to use this information to your advantage. For most people, the first 65 minutes of your sleep cycle are taken up with normal, non-REM sleep, followed by about 20 minutes of REM sleep - which is the time of your sleep during which you dream, and during which your body and mind are both able to get their deepest rest. Of course, this leaves five remaining minutes before it totals 90 minutes, and these five minutes constitute the time during which your body and mind are in limbo - the time during which they are gearing up for the next set of sleep, and during which you are most likely to wake up to small noises or disturbances. When you are woken up (or when you wake up) during this "in-between" time, you are going to feel much more rested and far more ready to start your day, which means that the best way to ensure that you feel rested when you get up in the morning is to time your "wake up" so that it comes at the end of one of these 90 minute cycles. In order to feel more awake, don't just add more sleep; try to schedule your sleep so that you will wake up during this limbo period, and you will feel much more ready to get out of bed and start your day.
Understanding Lazy Afternoons And Their Positive Effects
If you see yourself as a driven person - the kind of person who always wants to be working hard and always wants to be moving forward in life - this is definitely a good thing (to be certain, it is a far better thing than being categorized as a "lazy person"), but one issue with those people who tend to always be working hard is that they rarely take the time to relax. If you see yourself as being this kind of person, it is great for you to realize all the positive things that come from working as hard as you work - but at the same time, it will be good for you to realize that there is nothing wrong with having a lazy afternoon every once in a while, and in fact, this is sometimes quite a positive thing to do! When you work hard and put so much emphasis on the importance of work, you will often find that you have a high stress quotient in your life, and while you might feel that this is something you are perfectly fine "dealing with," one problem with allowing a lot of stress to enter into your life is that it can negatively affect your health - and by simply taking a lazy afternoon every so often, you can prevent this from being as big of an issue as it would otherwise be. In addition to helping you stay healthy by relieving stress, having a lazy afternoon every once in a while will also end up helping you get the most out of the time off you have; while there are times when it is great to "do something" during your time off - making an effort to make new memories - there are other times when the best thing you can do for maximizing your day off is to really do nothing at all! And if you sometimes feel that you are being ultra underproductive when you have a lazy afternoon, one thing that will be great for you to realize is that one of the huge benefits of lazy afternoons is that they will often help you feel reenergized afterward - which, in the long run, will make your time at work that much more productive!

Keeping Your Weight Under Control The Easy Way
Many people have tried all sorts of diets. If you wonder why people try so many diets, one reason is because they have not found one that works! After all, if just one diet plan existed that truly worked wonders, there would not be any others, right? Not necessarily. One of the reasons why so many people shuffle through diet plans is because they are not staying committed. And quite frankly, they are having a hard time because it is just plain difficult to fit a diet into a daily routine. Perhaps you want to eat healthy, perhaps you want to live a healthy lifestyle, but perhaps your schedule does not make this easy. If you find yourself in this position, follow these five tips to keep your weight under control. 1) Always eat breakfast: There is a reason why they call breakfast "the most important meal of the day." When you eat breakfast at the start of the day, it kicks off your metabolism. Even something simple and easy for breakfast - fruit or yogurt or toast - can make a big difference. 2) Work your exercise in somewhere: The excuse of "I don't have time" is what most people use as their reason for not working out. But there are plenty of times throughout the day that are good for exercise - do three minutes of pushups and sit-ups before you shower in the morning and before bed; take the stairs at work; go for a walk on a nice day; exercise when you can. 3) Change your eating habits: Even though a lot of us do not have time to make healthy meals all the time, there are even healthy fast food options. But actually, you will find that a lot of fast food places have added salads to their menus! Make small, healthy substitutions, and you will see a big difference. 4) Add fruits and vegetables: Instead of buying fast food, start going with fruits and vegetables; you can save a lot of money. And also, you can easily bring these foods with you to work, or to school, or in the subway. You will start to see a difference if you keep fruit around. 5) Add some supplements: A lot of different supplements provide you with the vitamins and minerals you need for the day. Such supplements will go a long way in helping you stay healthy and feeling good. When you break down a healthy lifestyle into smaller pieces, you will find that it becomes a whole lot easier to keep your weight under control and to have a healthy body.

The Best Clothes For Aerobic Workouts
When you work out, you want to make sure that your performance matches up with your capacity for performance. One of the biggest limitations you can meet in your quest for high levels of performance while working out is clothes that fail to aid you in this quest. You can have success in your aerobic workouts once you know the right clothes to wear. A lot of people think of their workout time as the perfect opportunity to make sure they "look good," but this is absolutely the wrong approach to take. Don't pick out clothes that are expensive just so you can look good on your way into the gym; instead, pick out clothes that you can sweat in. You can achieve this goal with a lot of inexpensive options. Workout clothes should be lightweight and loose-fitting, and they should be made of breathable materials. You can find such clothes at any large sporting goods store, or you can find these clothes in the back of your closet or at the bottom of drawers! You probably have plenty of old sweatpants and shorts, plenty of lightweight shirts and tanktops. Choosing the right shoes is another important aspect of your aerobic workout. While you might have held back during your purchases of workout clothes, shoe shopping for your workout is a good time to break out the checkbook. Although good shoes can seem expensive, the price of sore feet is much higher. Shop for shoes carefully: make sure the shoes you pick out fit comfortably, and that they are sturdy. Remember that there are different shoes for different kinds of workouts. You do not want to buy a pair of track shoes for your aerobic workout. You don't want to go to they gym wearing hiking shoes! You want shoes that will be lightweight, well-made, and comfy for your intense (or not-so-intense) aerobic workouts. Of course, it might seem funny to think so hard about what you will wear while working out. But the work put into picking out your attire will protect you from having ruined clothes and sore feet! Pick out the right outfits for your aerobic workouts, and then you will be set to focus on the important stuff - the actual workout itself.
